The Sad Truth

We were born for greatness.

Why is this such a sad truth?Because we ignore our greatness. We slowly begin to notice all the bad things and think that only when we’re perfect are we relevant to this world. Our greatness is no longer seen in the mirror, or in our writing, or in anything we see. Only in the eyes of another may our greatness shine through.

However, in our eyes, we’re much less than great. The sad truth being that we were born to be great is so sad because we fear going for that goal because we don’t see the potential within. We are saddened because of our flaws and things we do not do so well. We chase after the impossible dream of perfection, but that’s not what we need.

We need greatness.
